Biographical history

Harold (Harry) Throssell was born on 5 November 1931 at Warrington in the United Kingdom. He studied social work and social science in the United Kingdom. Throssell came to Australia in 1966 to lecture in social work at the University of Queensland. He stayed with University of Queensland until 1974. From his undergraduate days in the 1950s, Throssell wrote in newspapers, journals and has written books on various political, economic and social issues.
