National Civic Council (Queensland Division) (1957- ). The N.C.C. was the successor of the Catholic Social Movement (also known as the Catholic Social Studies Movement, the Industrial Movement and the Movement).
Objectives - To develop Australia as a nation whose social, economic, industrial, political and civic institutions shall be based on the prescription of natural law; to defend Australia as a nation against every threat to her liberties and free development, especially those which stem from communism. The N.C.C. combats communist penetration of trade unions and the Australian Labor Party.

Notes: The N.C.C. operated as a pressure group in the Democratic Labor Party Queensland groups associated with the N.C.C. include the Peace With Freedom Movement, the Australian Defence Organisation and the Professional Businessmen's Club. The N.C.C. is also connected with Electors for Life and Women Who Want to be Women.
