Biographical history
London-trained psychiatrist, migrated to Australia in 1922 and lived in Brisbane from 1927. In 1940 Bostock was appointed research professor of medical psychology at the University of Queensland. He wrote The Dawn of Australian Psychiatry in 1951, and retired from his university post in 1962.
