Notes: Formed from a coalition of conservation interests, led by Dr Arthur Harrold of Noosa. The Committee was associated with the Noosa Parks Development Association and the Wildlife Preservation Society in a campaign to prevent sand-mining in the Cooloola area. The Committee is a member organization of the Queensland Conservation Council.
