Biographical history

Wallace Wood and Colin McLeod were members of the original Cosme community, established in Paraguay in the 1890s by Australian utopian socialists led by William Lane. In 1975 Marney Dunn's husband was the Australian Ambassador to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.

Letters in English and Spanish to Marney Dunn and her husband from Wallace Wood, Colin McLeod and Silvia McLeod de Wood, with translations and explanatory notes by Dunn. The letters deal mainly with the Dunns' visit to Wood and McLeod in Paraguay in 1975 and subsequent efforts to assist the latter financially through the sale of original copies of the 'Cosme Monthly' newsletter.
