Biographical history

Derek Harry Meyers was born on 5 June 1925, third child of Errol Solomon and Myrtle Meyers. Attended Eagle Junction State School, won a scholarship to Brisbane Grammar School, won an open scholarship to attend University of Queensland to study medicine graduating in 1950 after serving in World War Two. Died 16 July 2014.
