Biographical history

Arthur Creedy was born in England, studied and lectured at Cambridge, and taught English literature at the University of Leeds. He was appointed as the first Director of Cultural Activities for the Queensland Department of Education in 1968 at the age of 51 and retired in 1978 due to illness.
