Eric John Aarons was born on 16 March 1919. He was a member of of the Communist Part of Australia. He travelled to Cuba in 1965 as part of a delegation from the Communist Party of Australia: the Australian Party's first delegation to anywhere in the Americas. He died on 18 January 2019 in Sydney.

Harvey Alfred Pete Thomas was born on 16 June 1914. He died on 11 August 1988. He was a journalist and political activist.
