History

Thomas Dickson was born on 25 June 1888. He was appointed as Clerk in the Queensland Legislative Assembly in 1908, Clerk-Assistant and Usher of the Black Rod in 1915. In 1920 he was appointed as Assistant Clerk and Sergeant-at-arms until 1934 when he was appointed to Clerk of the Queensland Parliament until his retirement in1954. He died on 8 October 1974.
