History

Thomas Clarke was transported to New South Wales in 1824 on the ship Mangles. He was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Northampton Assizes, 28 Feb 1824. He was pardoned in 1844. After receiving his pardon he became a shepherd caring for a small flock of sheep near Marulan, New South Wales and remained here until his death.
