History
Civil Liberties Campaign Group (1978-1979). Absorbed Civil Liberties Coordinating Committee.
Objectives - To fight the Queensland government ban on street marches (September 1977) and to resist other restrictions on civil liberties.
Publicists - George Georges. See also Civil Liberties Coordinating Committee.
Notes: The formation of this Group in August 1978 followed a near crisis in the C.L.C.C. The new group established more links with the trade unions.
