History
Cairns Regional Gallery was established in 1995, and primarily collects works of art in all conventional and experimental media and from any time period, by artists from the Far North Queensland region and other artists influenced or inspired by the region. Housed in the former Public Office Building designed in 1933, refurbished in 1994.
