History
The Blackall Wool Scour was built in 1906, about 5 km outside Blackall in Queensland. Its purpose was to degrease raw wool. In 1978 the Blackall Wool Scour closed. In 1989 the Historical Woolscour Association was established, and in April 2002 the Blackall Wool Scour reopened as a tourist centre. It is listed on the registers of the National Estate, Queensland Heritage, and National Trust.
