Timor Moratorium Committee (1975).
Objectives: To bring together people concerned with defending the Timorese prople against imperialist agression, to rally support for the March 19 demonstration, and to support the Timorese people in their struggle for democracy.

The oldest public art gallery in regional Queensland, it was established in Toowoomba in 1938. Now housed in a new, specifically designed building which opened in March 1994, and is owned and maintained by the Toowoomba City Council, adjacent to the City Hall at 531 Ruthven Street.

The Queensland Trades and Labour Council was established in 1922. In 1993 it became the Australian Council of Trade Unions (Queensland Branch), and in 1999 was renamed the Queensland Council of Unions.
