Anglo-Saxon-Keltic Society (1980-).
Objectives: The Anglo-Saxon Society was formed in Hobart in June 1980 by Mr R. A. Watson and Mr T. D. Hume. The society aimed at highlighting the attributes, achievements and hieritage of those who claim Anglo Saxon descent. In December 1980, the name was changed to the Anglo-Saxon-Keltic Society.

The hall was located next to one of the oldest churches in Brisbane, the Ann Street Presbyterian Church, which was originally built in 1858 and reconstructed in 1872 following a fire. The hall was built in 1936 on the site of the former manse. It was designed by architect DFW Roberts in a style intended to blend with the 1872 church. The hall was demolished circa 2010 for construction of the 145 Ann Street commercial tower.

Anti War Conference Convening Committee.
Objectives - To organize a conference on peace and the needs of people.
Note: Associated with the Queensland Peace Committee. The conference was to be held in April 1973.
