This group was formed from a series of workshops on native title. The first workshop was in 1996.

Uniya Jesuit Social Justice Centre operated from 1989 to May 2007. It was based in Kings Cross, Sydney, N.S.W.

Roy James Walden was born in 1925 at Burketown to Francis Walden and Ellen Walden (nee Regan). He leased the pastoral holdings of Adina and Calshot in the Burke area of Queensland. He died on 8 February 1981.

Anne-Katrin Eckermann was born in Germany; migrate with parents to Australia when 12 years old; educated in Brisbane; studied at the University of Queensland; worked at the University of Queensland and the University of New England until she retired in 2007.

Muriel Elsie Webb was born in 1913 at West Ham, Essex. She married Bernard Langford and the couple moved to Australia in 1955, settling in Queensland in 1957. Langford soon became involved with the work of Queensland Council for the Advance of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders (QCAATSI), the establishment of the One People of Australia League (OPAL) in 1961, actively supported the 1967 referendum, and helped lobby for the establishment of the Aboriginal and Islander Independent Community School in 1986. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland in 1978. She died on 9 January 2003.

W. Wodgen and Hodgen was the architectural firm consisting of William Hodgen and his sons Neil Nelson Hodgen (1909-1938) and Owen Frederick Hodgen (1911-1989).

William Richer Moon was born in Brisbane on 10 May 1878, to Thomas Moon and Susan Margaret Moon (nee Jones). He married Florence Emily Melville on 29 April 1908 and they had at least three children: Lillian Margaret Reeve (nee Moon) (1909-1994) , Marjorie Florence Stafford (nee Moon) (1912-1998) and Allen William Moon (1918-1998). William Richer Moon died on 13 June 1966.
