History

Artist and senior custodian for the Warlpiri people thought to be born in 1930 (though at least one source cites a birth year of 1944). Born near Yuendumu. Worked as a stockman for many years before becoming an artist after moving to Papunya in the mid 1970s. Contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s.
