Maude Jowrth [spelling uncertain], thought to be born in 1915, contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s. Was married to Fred. A member of the Lardil peoples of Mornington Island. Her father's name was Stumpy. She died on 5 June 1990.
