History

Kelly Bunbujee, thought to be born in 1910 (though at least one source states Kelly's birth year as 1908), was an Elder of the Lardil people of Mornington Island. His partner was Francis or Frances. They had a child together called Beatrice. Kelly contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s. He died on 20 August 1985.
